THE EDIT / 01FROM TAKE TO EXPORT
A walkthrough of editing a take in Lumerec: a privacy mask, click zoom, cuts, a title and export.

A real Lumerec edit — recorded, shaped and exported locally.

01 Record screen, camera and voice 02 Edit every decision later 03 Export without uploading

the zoom lands where you click

lumerec eases in half a second before each click, keeps clicks that happen close together in one smooth move, and follows your pointer only when it nears the edge. you can change the timing, target and depth of any zoom.

privacy masks that don't blink

masks stay on the content as the view zooms. export checks every frame, and if a mask can't be confirmed, it stops and deletes the partial file instead of leaking it. you can also share an editable copy with the masked pixels removed for good.

edited-export.webm

export for anywhere

export H.264 MP4, VP9 WebM, GIFs up to 30 seconds, or a WebM with a transparent background that drops straight onto a website or slide. export renders every frame, so a slow mac takes longer but never drops a frame.

window frames from every mac era

from the pinstripes of mac os 9 to the liquid glass of macos 26. give the window a title, switch whenever you like, and the recording always fits exactly under the title bar. try it:

NEW / AGENT RECORDING

Let your agent make the take.
Keep the human touch.

Connect an MCP client to record a Mac app or a browser flow. The pointer glides between actions, clicks remain visible, and labelled steps are saved beside the video.

Record native Mac apps

Lumerec’s local MCP server records your screen and drives the real pointer through moves, clicks, drags, scrolls and typing. Your agent’s labelled actions are saved in a companion file.

02 / BROWSERCHROMIUM + PLAYWRIGHT
Illustration of an agent moving a visible pointer between named controls in a browser demo

Show a web flow

The companion Playwright MCP server finds controls by accessible name, draws a visible cursor and records Chromium at 60 fps. It saves an interaction file alongside the video.

Both paths use the same smooth pointer motion. Browser recording requires Chromium; desktop pointer control requires macOS Accessibility permission.

THE BUSINESS MODEL

Your videos stay on your Mac.
So does your software.

Most screen recorders charge every month for software that runs on your computer. Lumerec records, edits and exports locally, so the app is a one-time purchase.

You get a year of updates. After that, keep using the version you own or pay for another year of new features.

Optional Cloud hosting will come later as a separate subscription. You'll never need it to record, edit or export.

FAQ

frequently asked questions

is pro really a one-time purchase?

yes. you pay once and keep the version you bought, plus every update released in the next 12 months. after that you can buy another year of updates for new features. if you don't, the app keeps working.

why will cloud be a subscription?

hosting and streaming video costs us money every month for as long as your videos are online. the app itself doesn't, so it's a one-time purchase. cloud will be optional, and you'll never need it to record, edit or export.

does lumerec need an internet connection?

no. recording, editing and export all run on your mac. you only need a connection to buy a license and check for updates. your license key is checked on your mac, not on a server.

which macs are supported?

lumerec needs macos 15 or later. recording at 4k and 60 fps works best on apple silicon.

how many macs can i use one license on?

two macs that you personally use, such as a desktop and a laptop. teams buy one license per person.

what happens to my trial projects when i buy pro?

nothing changes. enter your license key, and the watermark and resolution limit are removed from future exports. your projects open exactly as before.
